Join us for 1, 2 or 3 basket-weaving workshops this summer taught by Miriam Buckman. Local materials and methods will be combined with basket traditions from the Land of Israel.

10 am – 3 pm Sundays – July 28, August 11, August 25

Outdoors in Blaine, WA. Location/directions will be provided with registration. 

Each time we will use different locally-foraged materials with three techniques: twining, plaiting, and coiling.

July 28 – basic woven basket with English ivy

August 11 –  woven mat with cattail

August 25 – coil basket with scotch broom   

No experience necessary!

Participants bring picnic lunch; tea and coffee will be provided.

All weaving materials will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring additional materials.

$75 per workshop. Join one, two, or all three. $190 for all three.
